Orkney Islands - Marwick Bay
West coast of Mainland, the biggest of the Orkney Islands.
This view was taken from Skara Brae, a village from the stone age that was first inhabited ~5000 years ago. At that time, the village was not on the shore, but further inland, but the the coastline has shifted since then and now it lies close to the beach.
