Out of Africa [61] - African Sky

Die Sonne geht unter über der Namib, es ziehen ein paar Wölkchen auf. Für uns ist das etwas ganz Besonderes in der Wüste, obwohl wir wissen, daß die Einheimischen dringend auf Regen warten. Es ist faszinierend, ich sitze auf der Terrasse meiner Hütte und betrachte dieses Schauspiel, die Farben des Himmels ändern sich, der Tag verabschiedet sich, der Blick in den Himmel und die Wolken hat fast schon etwas Hypnotisierendes. Ich kann mich mal wieder nicht losreißen.
Das Bild ist mit 13 sec belichtet, wenn ich länger hinschaue wird mir schwindlig.

Sunset over Namib desert, some clouds are in the sky. For us a very special occasion though we know the locals are urgently waiting for rain. It´s fascinating, I´m sitting on the terrace of my cabin and watch, the colour of the sky is changing every minute, the day is disappearing, the view to the sky and the clouds is somehow hypnotizing. I can´t get enough.
Exposure time 13 sec, the longer I watch the more dizzy I get.
