Well observed - a great viewpoint which effectively contrasts the verticals of the natural world with the horizontals of man's intervention, whilst the post box reminds us who's responsible (and no, I don't mean specifically the postman! *grin*) ...Susie :o)

We won't be able to follow the trail into the forest much longer. There will be no forest. Tones, textures, details and story are all well done. Great comp with the vertical of the distant trees still standing and the metal box on the vertical trunk to the left framing the horizontal stack o' future mail. Sad but true.
