Pater Vinktoren Maastricht
This tower was built for defense of the watergate at Jeker, the construction is completed around the year 1370 to 1380.
It was named after Father Servatius Vinck, a Franciscan priest who was accused of involvement in an attempted treason in 1638.
Father Vinck was found guilty and was sentence to death, reportedly he needed to wait in this tower for his execution.
