Il 21 giugno la mostra Cosmowomen. Places as Constellations, a cura dell'architetto Izaskun Chinchilla, apre alla Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea. La mostra che doveva inaugurare nel giugno 2020 abita lo spazio del Salone Centrale con tre strutture complesse e monumentali realizzate con materiali sostenibili. Le strutture sono ispirate a tre sfere armillari, modelli ridotti del cosmo visto dalla prospettiva terrestre, utilizzati come strumenti astronomici nell'antichità e nel Medioevo per determinare la posizione dei corpi celesti.

Planets in motion
On 21 June the Cosmowomen. Places as Constellations, curated by the architect Izaskun Chinchilla, opens at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. The exhibition that was to inaugurate in June 2020 inhabits the space of the Central Hall with three complex and monumental structures made with sustainable materials. The structures are inspired by three armillary spheres, reduced models of the cosmos seen from the terrestrial perspective, used as astronomical instruments in antiquity and in the Middle Ages to determine the position of celestial bodies.
