for some reason, i've always thought that tail lights...a car driving away...is among the saddest sights, but this time, there's a nice feel of hope to it with the young child riding in the truck. the mood would be different, i think, if you'd focused more sharply on the fence and let the truck blur into the distance a bit more within the low light. this tells a wonderful story on many levels and elicits an emotional response, for me at least. beautiful light in the dust and on the hills and sign on the left side! the diagonal piece of the fence on the left is a bit distracting, but i don't see how it could've been removed in the crop. overall, a very successful and effective image!!cheers,
