Scapa Flow

Scapa Flow is surrounded by several of the Orkney Islands, therefore the waters are more sheltered than the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean on both sides. During the first and second World War, a number of ships from the German and British Navies were sunk here, and several of the wrecks can still be seen today.

Scapa Flow is well known for divers, too. Some wrecks lay deep under the surface and strong currents are challanging for divers, but for wreck divers it is a "must".
