Although it's a lake there are shells. Once in history there must have been see.
The beach is not natural.
The sand and the shells are coming from depth soil layers and is absorbed by dredgers.
: )))) in fact it's "parallel shell-seeking" that's happening here! great composition with the two kids simultaneously scanning the beach for pretty shells and other treasures! and it's the seeking that counts, the suddenly finding: that tiny little moment before the picking up, the delicious nanosecond of spotting it in the sand, when myriads of cherry-colored butterflies suddenly flap their wings in unison against the walls of your stomach, making you feel light and drunk and brimming with happiness: "i've found something!!" ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: @ franz bernhardt: it's a passion, not a profession, i'm sure! ; ))
