Shwedagon pagoda
The Shwedagon pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar was built more than 25 centuries ago, of course in that time it's not looked like the one in the picture. It is famous in that valueable real gold plates cladding on all outer surface. What's so unique for this pagoda, in all Buddhists point of view, is that she contains 8 hairlines of the Lord Buddha given by himself when he was still alive. While all others pagoda elsewhere contain remaining ash of the Lord Buddha.
