Smiling Gareng mask

This mask used for Indonesian performances which are shown on Bali too.
The Gareng is playing a witty character with a slim, twisted body that is slightly deformed.
The Gareng is a Topeng. Topeng (Indonesian for "mask") is a dramatic form of Indonesian dance in which one or more mask wearing, beautifully costumed artists interpret traditional tales of legendary kings, heroes and myths, accompanied by Gamelan music.
