This is a small flower and hasn't blown up too well, but the structural beauty of the flower is there.

My camera has very limited macro facility and is not the best by a long way for flower shots.I also hand hold all my pics so poor lighting does tend to have an effect on my pics too. This actual flower was about 10mm long and this is a tightly cropped image, hencw the apparent softness of focus and loss of detail. The colour in the background is a painted fence by the way. Maybe one day soon my wife will buy me a digital SLR, a definite first on my techno-want list.Alex Padre 01/06/2005 4:01
Interesting background color you have in your picture. The subject and color of the floer is beautiful. However, I think the focus is soft on the flower?
