Star-Eruption over Mount Rainier
Mt Rainier is the 5th highest Mountain in the "lower 48" of the United States. It is also an active volcano (just north of Mt St Helens). The July new moon provided this view of the Milky Way as stars erupting from the volcano.

I´m also trying to shoot the Milky Way. So, I know how difficult it is to get it this way. I'm deeply impressed, congratulations.I would remove the bright star at the left side and correct the trees on the right side so that they grow straight vertically.
But all in all it is a great photo :-)
