Statue at Sanam Luang
Sanam Luang is a multi-purpose, leisure park at the heart of Bangkok, located in the north of The Grand Palace near Chao Phraya River.
The statue shows two Erawan figures.
Erawan has the meaning of water, clouds, and rainbow. It is the sacred name of a white elephant. The traditional tale has it that Erawan is the vehicle of Indra, a Hindu highest god.
