(dr. william butler)the rural scene, the far view and the somewhat soft and agreeable landscape with the rolling fields in the back – all very timelessly beautiful. and yet, the hard-working women are the true stars of this image! what grace in the pose of the kneeling one, what strength in the look directed at the camera! and no wonder, they are dealing with the strawberry, the fruit of temptation and seduction! so beware, photographer, your photographing aphrodite's staff! ; ) greetings, sabine.
