Thai Sala
The lovely effect of a bright, but low afternoon sun on a beautiful autumn day. This is the Thai Sala, with its statue of Buddha, in Westpark, Munich, looking as though it has floodlights shining on it relative to its surroundings.
Westpark was set up for the International Garden Exhibition of 1983, and there were many different sections with displays from different countries. The Thai Sala is undoubtedly the most prominent display that is still remaining, and it is still used for occasional celebrations in the Thai or Buddhist calendar. (Uploaded on the day it was taken)
