The Living Forest (425) : Fallow Deer
I spotted these 3 fallow deer at the edge of the forest, on a summer morning, 6 o’clock.
The fallow deer is a grazing mammal that inhabits mixed woodlands with dense undergrowth and open grassland all over Europe.
Peak activity is at dawn and dusk.
Dutch name : Damhert
German name : Damhirsch
Latin name : Dama dama
Location : forest of Küchelscheid, Belgium
