When painting I try to make a few paintings with a same theme, sometimes because the subject attracts me, sometimes to try out different approaches to a same matter...

The following are a few paintings depicting people reading, an activity that allows you discover new worlds, new lives, different cultures and phantasies that can take you anywhere.
An homage to the author's for giving us many hours of entertainment, emotions and joy.
A tribute to those who appreciate the latter's work and who are able to immerse themselves in the words of others.

Wenn ich male, versuche ich einige Bilder der selben Thematik zu malen, manchmal, weil mich das Thema interessiert, manchmal um ein gleiches Thema in verschiedenen Formen anzugehen...

Die nächsten Gemälde zeigen lesende Menschen, die einer Aktivität nachgehen, die einem erlaubt, neue Welten, neue Leben, verschiedene Kulturen und Fantasien zu erleben, die man sonst vielleicht nicht erleben würde.
Eine Huldigung der Autoren, die uns so viele Stunden der Unterhaltung, Gefühle und Freude schenken.
Eine Hommage an Jene, die die Arbeit der Autoren anerkennen und die fähig sind, in diese Welten einzutauchen.
