Axios is a long river that, after crossing Serbia and Fyrom, enters Greece from north,flows through all Macedonia and eventually empties in north Aegian Sea forming a very vast Delta, actually a lagoon which has developped to an excellent resort for many bird spieces that nest there in a rich habitat of plants and humidity ideal for protection, hibernation and hatching...The place is also nice for fishing.

It looks and sounds like a superb area for all the different birds etc. It is to be hoped that nothing is ever allowed to ruin such a place.Taken in beautiful light and with much detail.
