      There were a lot of Russian tourists around us in Vienna.-  and in the vicinity of this church, near the hotel. (extract - )
      The Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Vienna was erected in the 1890s. In 2003, a major renovation of the church was started. The Mayor’s Office of the City of Vienna, Lukoil, Gasexport, and many private sponsors supported its restoration. This has allowed the cathedral to be fully renovated,
      and for the first time in its history its interior walls were decorated with frescoes. (end of extract).
