Really a fantastic moment, with the water splashing over the boat! Also a well chosen perspective, with the rope coming from the lower right corner.In general I don't like heavy frames like this, usually they distract the eye too much from the photo. In this case I am not so sure. It is an interesting contrast, these static frame against the dynamic picture. Its colour fits very well, yellow together with the main blue and red in the photo, and similar to the yellow end of the rope on the left and the bumper(?) on the right. I don't know...

Great picture !!!But I disagree with you about the frame. Everybody has his own taste, but this one really spoiled the picture !!
