The story of the Apprentice in the small sieve shop

School season starts at the second week of september and finishes at the second week of the june in Turkey. There are 3 months of free time for students; and many of the students do not have traditional holiday because of the income level of their families. They have to be kept busy and learn somethings related to the life outside. So parents send especially their sons to learn somethings and to be busy securely under a control of a craftsman. This little boy has to spend his summer holiday in this small sieve shop. Who knows where he dreams to be, what he wants to do and how he feels. I suppose he would not want to be there if he had a chance. But not so many kids have chances to have a traditional summer holiday. Thus they are able to learn some facts about life. " Life is hard" for many especially from the very beginning.

Thank you for your comment, Miss Wilson. Actually no need to use so many words, his face tells us more than words written here.

Thanx for your comment Mr.Pascal. That is true, he has some resignation in his eyes. I took three photographs of this little boy, he did not say a word and never tried to show himself in a special way in front of my camera. He just look ed as if he was waiting for the time he would go back home. He seem that he accepted the situation but bored.

Some resignation in the child's eyes. But that's busy life during summer holiday. What certains of us have earlier known.
