The trail.
This is a photo of my kids walking up a path from the lakeshore to the camper. I like the look of this shot. I did not save the camera setting details, but will in the future.

@ WenRules are made to be broken, but one most truely understand the rule to break it and still maintain artistic excellence.
@ Brad
I've viewed your edited version, and I feel that it is much better.

I don't know, I tried to crop it to see. Taking the bottom 1/3 off changes the picture quite a bit as far as the look. It improves it in a way -I kind of like this one as it is - but then - I like to break the rules.Brad Waldera 13/09/2005 21:36
You're right Robert. I know all about the "Thirds" composition rule, but didn't follow it. It would make a big difference in this photograph. Thanks for commenting. I'd love to hear from anybody who has anything to say about my pictures. You can never get enough information. I'll put some other shots on here as I'm able to. Thanks again, Robert.Robert van der Sanden 13/09/2005 21:01
Hi Brad, welcome to the community. Children are always a valuable subject for photos. I like this picture in B&W. I would suggest to remove the bottom 1/3, al the way into the shadows of the children. That way the picture gets a better base, now the children are sort of "flying". Just a thought...Enjoy your time here and show us more.
