To climb or not to climb

Klettern oder nicht klettern, das ist die Frage.
Die traditionellen Eigentümer bitten darum das der Uluru nicht bestiegen werden soll, trauen sich aber auch nicht es zu verbieten.
Das ist natürlich ein Dilemma, da es auf der einen Seite für das Pitjantjatjara Aborigional Council eine gute Einkommensquelle ist, auf der anderen Seite ihre Kulturstätte und Glaube verletzt wird. So wird es eben dem Besucher freigestellt in der Hoffnung das man unten bleibt.
Ich hatte es einfach, bei 33 Grad im Schatten, müsste man Steine im Kopf habe darauf zu steigen.
Übrigens, habe ich den Erbauer des Kettenweges kennengelernt, er ist jetzt über 80 Jahre und der Eigentümer von Curtin Spring Station. Warum die Ketten so niedrig sind? Mr. Severin ist ein sehr kleiner Mann :-)

You can climb on to the top of the ULURU. The tratitional land owners ask you not to do so, as they see the Rock as one of theire cultural heritage. On the one hand they like income, on the other hand they want people to keep off.
They would have the power to close the Rock completely, but now they leave it up to the tourist to decite for themselfs. So money still talks.
