Traveling Circus #5
As mentioned before everybody does everything. Here the youngster is at the beginning of his career performing with the pony. Before starting this little photographic story I had a longer discussion with some circus members about future expectations. It becomes more and more difficult to exist as the audience shrinks more and more. For such a little circus the program is focused on entertainment for children. But In today's world of computers, tablets and mobile communication the interest for such a circus performance declines every year more and for "normal" children it seems to be "uncool" to visit such a circus….

Very well captured image. The boy in the center of the ring appears to be looking at the girl off to the left. Not only is he starting his circus career but maybe trying to impress the girl as well.Lawson McCulloch 06/07/2014 20:04
Children and their parents don't know what they are missing. It is sad that well run circuses are disappearing.best wishes,
