Tree Pipit

One don’t see much birds in the vast and desolate swamps of ‘Hohes Venn’, the greatest and oldest National Park of Belgium and the most unique nature biotope in the land.

I only spotted this small Tree Pipit far away in the swamp. A 850mm lens was absolutely necessary to shoot the bird (500 mm + 1,7x extender).

It’s a long-distance migratory songbird wintering in Africa and southern Asia.
