Tulip
With many hybrid cultivars grown in gardens, the tulip is a very well known spring flower that appears in countless colours.
Although tulips are often associated with the Netherlands, commercial cultivation of the flower began already in the Ottoman Empire (= Turkey) in the 16th century.

German name : Tulpe
Latin name : Tulipa gesneriana

Herrlich ist ihr Innenleben mit den etwas kleineren Blütenblättern! Der Farbverlauf der Petalen ist wunderbar und das Licht lässt die Farben so wundervoll zur Geltung kommen!
