Vietnamese Railway
Infrared, Nikon F80, Kodak Highspeed IR film
The Vietnamese railway is quite something. This pic is taken in central Hanoi. The Railway seemingly cuts through old houses that are built no more than 2 meters away from the tracks. People go along their daily life on the tracks because they are about the only spot in Hanoi where there is no motorbike traffic. When the railway approaches, a guard appears with a little lamp, he pulls a fence onto the road to block the impatient motorbikers from crossing the tracks, and people pick up their sale from the tracks to move to the side. A minute later the train, that was most likely used 100 years ago, rattles by. Then the fence is removed, the guard disapears in his little shack and hundreds of motorbikes cross the track again.

@Winnie Punkt.
