Taken early in November when I was playing tourist with my German visitors.
The sculpture is part of the Vancouver Biennale and is entitled "Frozen Water" by Chinese artist Jun Ren.

That is a truly impressive and large sculpture, I love it! So different from other sculptures and really eye catching. On the way into Plymouth (the nearest big city from here) there is a fantastic sculpture of a big silver bird with a branch in its mouth and I so want to take a picture of it but it is on a strip of grass in the middle of a four lane highway and can't stop the car next to it! I must park the car near it and get a photo soon, it's beautiful. I like the mountain backdrop in the picture, very imposing, especially when they are snow capped in the winter.Regards
