We don't get snow in England
Well, not that often, and this was exceptional for the East of County Durham. We may not see many more scenes like this, where the interaction of man to man with dog - comparing notes, no doubt, on that most English of topics - The Weather!

A pleasure to view - I like the silhouetted trees and the way the two figures are dwarfed by the scene, they help to provide a sense of scale ... well done ...Susie :o)

True enough and then that much. Never saw that much in the two years that I was in Sunderland. We don't always get that much in the Rhein Valley, on the edge of the Black Forrest, where I now live. At the moment we have enough tho and when it started a couple of days ago we had chaos with the motorway shut for virtually two days.Greetings Viktor

I grew up in Texas where we didn't get much snow either. When we did, My mother would get a dishpan full of snow, then make her "snow cream." Here's the recipe:Beat together 2 eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 cups milk, and 2 tablespoons vanilla. Mix in enough snow to make consistency of soft ice cream. Yummy.
Incidentally, great picture.
Aloha,
Tom
