When the Big Ships Return
In Puntaranas, a small costal town in Costa Rica that makes it's living from tourist visiting via ocean cruise. This small town reflects the limitation of the artiest and products for sale. One gets the feeling that maybe this is why the tall ships have moved on. No bling in the products.

well composed with the woman vendor and her wares and showing the cruiseship in the background ..... words that provoke one's thoughts.I was here - yes, by cruiseship - in April of 2011 - bought some wonderful local art, enjoyed walking around the village and meeting several people there !!!
greetings, Adele

A fantastic portraiture of the lady getting ready to ply her wares. It I imagine most of these people live hand to mouth but yet they seem happy. If the ships stop coming how will they make a living?Dragomir Vukovic 14/12/2012 3:31
