Wooden pieces to make thanakha
Common makup used in Burma, where mostly girls and women cover their cheeks with the thanakha powder.
This was thanakha wood (Hesperethusa crenulata) for sale as my wife use it as well.
Thanakha powder is made by grinding the bark, wood, or roots of a thanakha tree with a small amount of water on a circular slate slab called kyauk pyin, which has a channel around the rim for the water to drain into.
