Your Weight in Trash

We never think about trash. We put int plastic bags and someone coolest it and off it goes. Tow day it's recycled and if possible re processed for something useful.
It's all neat, done by machines. Without the human involvement the recycled boots on the ground, this green idea would fail and quickly back up and turn entire cities into garbage dumps for starters. Your property would devalue, and insurance would rise for any health related issue that bonds itself to the break down.
It is not dream job, but without the people that work in the fields for the green idea, things would be messy for the common house hold.

Most of us here in America are kept from seeing the incredible amount of waste that we generate. The trucks come and collect what I put in the plastic bins each week. There are many people who rely on the trash of others to meet their daily needs. Good photo documenting the work of the refuse worker.

We are lucky to have the refuse colletion men come to our homes and take away the rubbish and dispose of it all for us..... BUT, with all of the prepacked, plastic wrapped conenience foods that are on the shelves of every shop, what about all of the dirt and rubbish that is discarded anywhere and everywhere when such food is eaten as we walk along..... who is it that has to pick all that up?
As you show in this scene, in many parts of the world people 'work' on the rubbish tips to find that stuff that can be sold and recycled in order for them to make some kind of living. A horrible, smeely, filthy and dangerous way to do it... but to surive at all........

A picture to make us all think hard about what we discard in our daily lives.

It shocked me always when I see what we do very often thoughtlessly.
We should be ashamed of how we deal with our environment.

My greengrocer has fortunately paper bags and for this photo I'm going every day to tell me: the bread of the work comes in a can!

Thanks Glenn, that you have adjusted the picture here.
