A propos de moi
I took my very first photo at the age of 6 and was hooked by 13, using a darkroom by 16 and creating portfolio's by 20. Party, wedding, sports and runway photographs were my main interests. At 22 I travelled to Europe and spent the best 3 months of my life photographing Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland. From the Dolomiti's to the Zugspitze, Frohnburg Castle to the Munich Zoo where I photographed my first ever Orangutan. That was 21 years ago.
Life came upon me when I returned, A career, family, children, pets all followed, My Nikon 2020 was there, every event, every birth, every conquest, every tear, smile and missing tooth.
I just recently passed my trusty old Nikon SLR to my 11 yr-old son and I bought my first Digital Camera, a Sony A100 DSLR. Now I must re-learn everything I knew, in Digital and teach my curious son the basics.
Photography, Martial Arts and playing Guitar are my greatest passions and a common bonding agent between my children and I, a bond that I hope will florish well into there grown years.
I shall be uploading my favorite photographs over the next few months and I hope you enjoy them as much as I, but more than that, I'd appreciate your comments and tips if any.
