I am a retired licensed aircraft engineer, having spent over 40 years in the aviation industry. My journey has taken me across continents, from the bustling cities of Africa to the vibrant streets of Barcelona.
African Adventures
Between 1982 and 1995, I found myself stationed in Africa. My work took me to diverse cities: Nairobi, where the savannah met the sky; Duala, with its bustling markets and coastal breezes; Libreville, where the rainforest whispered secrets; and Lagos, a vibrant hub of energy. Amidst the challenges of aviation, I absorbed the rich tapestry of African cultures.
Dual Homes
My heart straddles two continents. My home base will be closed ( 2024 ) soon in Barcelona, where the Mediterranean breeze whispers tales of the past. Yet, across the ocean, will move to Santiago de Chile ( 2025 ) to our family. The Andes watch over our shared stories, connecting distant shores.
