A propos de moi
Hello, I'm M. Lewis Kennedy, Jr. My profile photo is by my Son, Murray III.
I've been a packaging designer, graphic designer, 2nd helper on a blast furnace, an automobile mechanic and a "Dad."
I presently make my living as a "Visual Artist" mostly as an Architectural Photographer. It's getting harder and harder to make a profit now that everything is digital. I keep having to reinvest in hardware and software whereas properly-maintained, quality analog equipment will last for many years opposed to the short working-life of most digital. And healthcare insurance, utilities - you all know what I mean. Sometimes I wish I had some type of a steady job with benefits. Then I create an exciting image and everything seems optomistic again!
I've been amassing "personal" work for years with little or no exposure of these images to anyone. I'm hoping to start sharing my "art" with this group, get some feedback and develop a plan to try to market the most accepted images and develop another revenue stream to aid in my survival.
I'm a passionate Artist, Adventurer and Ever-Learning Student. Hobbies include Gardening, Industrial Archaeology and Earth Sciences. I have one Sprout who will be starting College (fingers-crossed) later this summer.
I value all objective criticism and sharing of knowledge/life experiences.
Cheers to fotocommunity! I look forward to my growing participation and hopefully developing new friendships.
Thank You.
