A propos de moi
My real name is Miguel Varela Rodríguez, but I've been called Michi since I was born. I'm a spanish amateur photographer. I use a reflex analog Nikon which I got from a photographer from the city. I have a 35-200 my uncle lent me. So I have no personal camera, I just colect what I can from friends and familiars.
I haven't got a lot of influences, as I don't know a lot of photographers. Perhaps photographers such as William Albert Allard, Jens Rzostch (however it's written :$) or Rarindra Prakarsa (who you people from Fotocommunity know very well and whose quality I admire but I'll never achieve). I took up photography as a hobby three years ago, and since then I've been getting more and more serious, but never pro or semi-pro.
Thank you very much for your time, and I wish you like what you see!
I'm new to FC, so any suggestions or advices will be welcome. I've seen you people here have like a true sense of community, and I believe that's a really nice and necessary thing to keep up photographing, and to make photography a beautiful thing as well.
"My" equipment (which, as said above, is not really mine!):
Nikon F-301 (Film)
Nikkor 35-200mm
Philips P518 Flash with a broken bulb or something. See it's funny effect here: http://flickr.com/photos/winteriswhite/2387704112/
I used to own a Nikon Coolpix 5700, which is now totally broken, and I keep some film cameras from my uncle.
