Since I’m almost 71 years old I may consider that my adolescence is over and that I must start looking the future more seriously. Since I see lots of photography in my future I’m beginning to take it very seriously an that’s why I engage in this site. I’ve taken photos all my life, very poor ones, but good for memories. With the advent of digital photography and internet a hole new world has opened its doors to casual photographers like me. I expect that with time, exercise and your help I’ll be able to take decent photos, good enough to fill my modest pride.
My equipment is a Nikon Coolpix 990, an Olympus C8080WZ and a brand new Nikon D50 with lenses ranging from 27 to 300 mm (35 mm equivalent). Some close-up lenses (+1 +2 and +4 dioptres) external flash and tripod.
I’m grateful to Jaime Crystal Maksoud for introducing me to this site (he is very enthusiastic about it) and since I’ve to work hard to make a living I do not expect to be a very frequent contributor, but I’ll do my best to maintain a constant presence.
