Tommy Lund

I’m 39 years old and I live in Weert, Limburg, The Netherlands.
My passion for photography started back in 1983 when I did a course in elementary school.

9 years later I started working in a photography store, selling cameras, developing photographs and helping customers with everything related to photography.

Parallell with this I also gave classes in photography and dark-room technique at different youth clubs in Trondheim, Norway, which is my place of birth.

Since 2001 I have been living in The Netherlands, from where I have been working as a freelance journalist and photographer for different media all over Scandinavia. Topics I work with include sport, music and current events. It is very enjoyable for me to be able to write about my new homecountry to my “old” country and in that way bring my past, present and future together.

Photography to me is to be able to document what I experience and how I see the world around me.

A photograph is an everlasting memory of a unique moment that will never be repeated, but thanks to the photography it can still be relived over and over again. I find myself very privileged to be allowed to document this and share it with the world.
