Hi Cathy,
In your comment on my picture 'In a country Churchyard' you say about the ashes of our departed relatives can be burried beneath a tree in a forrest in some places. We saw one such woodland when on holiday last year in Staffordshire. It is a lovely idea and should be taken up everywhere. We would have a place to visit should we wish, and the world would be a better place for all of the new trees planted.
Thank you my dear for all of your comments on my pictures.
Yes, I did miss it but they are great and I am enjoying them. Thank you very much. I greatly enjoyed my trip to Cappadocia, was lucky I have a cousin living in Turkey so I got a bit "extra" , I was overwhelmed, could not believe that I had lived so long and not known or seen this before. I was there beginning of April with only one jersey and we had snow storms and as I said the light was really not good. I must look for some of my specimens. Thank you once again, cathy
Hello Cathy,
Last Monday I posted this picture especially for you, but you apparently missed it.
A few months ago I posted two other Cappadocia photos:
I like to vary between the travel photos of our trips, but I will look for further Cappadocia photos!
Best regards,
Peter
Dear Cathy,
Many thanks for your explanation about your part of the world. Coming from a country that has frequent rain, I cannot comprehend how it must be to have no rain for years... how dry and arrid it must all be, and yet I can see the beauty in the Namib Desert that you portray in your superb pictures.
Keep on loving and enjoying your world, and taking pictures t share with the rest of us.
