Thank you for your comment on liquifaction, Kathryn! The paradox of sand and water as it erodes captures my imagination and my eye everytime I walk over the Santa Clara River bridge. Straight down is a perspective that not only evokes a bit of vertigo, but unleashes the muse as well...
Your image "From Above" is a prime example of that theory! Wonderful!

Thanks for the look and comments on Cantankerous Truth! The title is a metaphorical one, for I love metaphor, and it was an illusory inuendo to the cactus as well as the grumpy old hermit who dwells within.
