A Village Kitty
I’m a Bündner village kitty
Don't you think I'm kinda pretty?
Lenz is my happy home
And I’ve no desire to roam
My humans treat me well here
(Is that the dinner bell I hear?)
No, it’s just St Mary’s Church, there on the village hill.
So since the sun’s so warm and nice, I think I’ll just lie still
And soak up all those Alpine rays
As I do on most fair days.
Occasional mousies are fair game
And as the village huntress, I enjoy my fame.
Oh, and dear viewer, do let me allay your fears…
I really DO have TWO big furry ears.

so cute, the rosy "alpenglühen" in this swiss mountain lion's very virile ear! and the narrowed pupils of his hypnotic eyes – fascinating! my favorite tiny detail, though, besides the smushed whiskers, is the shape of the ear echoed in the bell tower of st. mary's church! greetings, sabine. p.s.: did you notice that the sign in the back is structured exactly like the features – eyes, nose, mouth – of the cat?!

Thanks for confirming you have both ears, good to know!;)
As the village kitty you are not only a pretty village huntress, but also a poet, so great job my dear!
Like both photos a lot, also the one of St. Mary's Church, I would love to amble down that road and visit the place....
Best regards,
Susana
