L'antenato di questo controverso grattacielo, è a Torino e fu ideato e costruito dal celebre architetto Alessandro Antonelli, autore del più noto edificio , ora simbolo di Torino: la Mole Antonelliana.
I torinesi, chiamano tale singolare edificio, Fetta di Polenta, per la sua forma strettissima e allungata. Ed è tutt'ora, accanto alla Mole.
Sono solo sette piani fuori terra, ma poteva essere molto più alto. All'Antonelli interessava dimostrare il suo principio e il suo progetto costruttivo, quale lezione di architettura.
Tale progetto,fu successivamente sviluppato e realizzato in New York. Complimenti per l'ottima immagine e documento
