Hiatus
Our lovely friend here was trying to examine the leaf where she landed. Her primary purpose was to test whether the newfound stopover was the appropriate venue where she can lay her eggs on to propagate.
Butterflies have taste sensors on their feet, and by standing on a leaf, they can taste it to see if their caterpillars can eat it.
