    Hi Arjun,

    Yes it is Hibiscus. I was trying to focus more on the stigma rather than the flower itself. I find them more interesting since we don't normally get to see them at a glance.

    Hi Darwin. Dito lang pala tayo magkikita ano. I know its difficult to get this shot and I also agree with what Robert Sanden said regarding the picture. For a beginning post, it is nice.     Hi Darwin,

    Welcome to FC! Nice idea to use the flower itself as a soft, blurry background. Small remark: try to shift the depth of field range slightly more to the front, so that the 5 red dots are sharp. They are the "eyes" of your portrait. Maybe some more green at the left, for the balance in the composition?
