maze for our viewer's eyes that are irresistibly drawn to the luminous spots on the ground. i find this art exhibit quite interesting. since i've been reading nathanael west's hollywood novel "the day of the locust" (1939) again, my first thought was that the scene – roses like separate fires on the ground – reminded me of the protagonist's apocalyptic painting "the burning of los angeles"… fascinating novel, by the way!! so very modern! greetings, sabine.Harold Thompson 24/02/2013 9:30
