A long time ago, during vacation nearby, I discovered the workshop of Roel Hildebrand in an old house in the old town part of Alkmaar NL. Up to now I mostly had no time or it was closed. Now I had luck: I had time, he was there and agreed on me taking photos of him and this amazing traditional handcraft.

Those hands, those brushes and glass seems to be taken from an alchemist's laboratory, and it is because of the secrets of his work..come out magical pieces of art..the man with his hands..Congratulations, great ambiance.
