Bournmoor Junction - Philadelphia NCB System
This picture is of the Philladelphia Railway System run by the National Coal Board, not by British Rail. It existed to link coal mines and coke ovens in the area. There were also exchange sidings where British Rail locomotives picked up coal for network distribution. This busy scene is at Bournmoor Junction.

For a "continental eye" these saddle tank engines are a very unusual sight!Very scenic shot, so many busy little tank engines, typical for those colliery lines!

Really, an amazing view back in time, to the glory days of regular british steam. Nice to see that you take care to show the railway inviroment (telegraphs, shemapore signals, buildings etc) too.I am anioux to watch forward some other motives.
Best regards
