After we had eaten the snacks we had brought with us, Gordon looked at his detailed hiking map to see what our route would be on the way back. The "car ports" in the background were probably built to accommodate heavy forestry equipment; But they are also suitable as shelter in the rain. My medium-sized backpack, which is good for day trips, is actually not a real camera backpack, one of which is too small and the other too big. In addition to the camera and telephoto lens, these also fit a thermos flask, something to eat, rain cover for the camera and backpack, a complete camouflage suit, cap, camouflage net and, if necessary, some (bird or squirrel) food. ISO mat and rain jacket can be hung outside. Scotland is and remains my absolute dream country. After looking at the picture, you can also guess which country Joanne and Gordon dream of and almost even acquired citizenship.

Nach dem wir unsere mitgebrachten Snacks verspeist hatten, schaute Gordon auf seiner detailierten Wanderkarte nach, wie unsere Strecke für den Rückweg verlaufen würde. Die "Car Ports" im Hintergrund wurden wohl für die Unterbringung von schwerem Gerät für die Waldwirtschaft errichtet; eignen sich aber auch als Unterstand bei Regen an. Mein mittelgroßer Rucksack, der sich für Tagestouren gut eignet, ist eigentlich kein echter Kamerarucksack, von denen der eine zu klein und der andere zu groß ist. In diesen passen neben Kamera und Tele noch eine Thermoskanne, etwas zu essen, Regenschutz für die Kamera und Rucksack, ein kompletter Tarnanzug, Kappe, Tarnnetz und wenn nötig etwas (Vogel oder Eichhörnchen )-Futter. ISO-Matte und Regenjacke lassen sich außen anhängen. Schottland ist und bleibt mein absolutes Traumland. Von welchem Land Joanne und Gordon träumen und fast sogar die Citizenship erworben hätte, kann man nach der Betrachtung des Bildes auch erahnen.
