This is another beautiful picture, Adele, of ruins of a later built Byzantine Orthodox church on the Classical ancient site only to signify its supremacy!.. and you very wisely left it in colour just to make more evident the characteristic Byzantine architectural style. You see, Byzantine empire was a continuation of Greek civilization,language, spirit and culture but NOT of religion!...regards alexander

Many of these ruins were probably brought
much later to this place.
The main thing is that it looks good.
