Incredibly - a tiny island lost in the ocean, in its midst, a crater filled with a lake and on the lake, a piece of the Black Forest !
Any way to produce hydro-electric energy, I wonder ?

  In this case not possible hydro-electic dam to win energy.
  Some Km. North of Lagoa do Fogo there is a Geothermal energy power plant of Ribeira Brava. Not only electricity is gained but also the heat from the "Earth" is also piped to many gree houses to produce fruits and vegetables.
